‘Land of God’ is another name by which Kinnaur is known. From Shimla, its distance is about 235 km. The lush greenery and the Satluj, Baspa and Spiti rivers flowing through the mountains present a beautiful natural view that gives comfort to the eyes. Hinduism and Buddhism both exist side by side here. Here exists the famous Kinner Kailash, which is believed to be the home of Lord Shiva. In the vicinity, you will also find many old Buddhist monasteries and temples. There are different other attractions like adventure sports, delicious apples, Chilgoza, handlooms and handicrafts.
